Computing

The National Curriculum for Computing in Key Stages 1 and 2 is based on three main areas:

  1. Computer Science– How computers work and how to use this knowledge within programming.
  2. Information Technology– The use of digital tools to create programs, systems and a range of content.
  3. Digital Literacy– How to use technology and the internet safely, responsibly and effectively.

Hunton CEP School follows the ‘Purple Mash’ scheme of learning to focus on the key objectives of the Computing Curriculum. We also use a range of other websites, apps and resources such as Beebots and Micro: bits.
