Odd Sock Day inspires unity by promoting individuality, kindness, and anti-bullying values among students and staff.

Last week, our school participated in Odd Sock Day as part of Anti-Bullying Week. Students and staff wore mismatched socks to celebrate uniqueness and diversity, reinforcing the message that everyone is valued for who they are.

In assembly, we discussed the importance of kindness and inclusion, with powerful messages about accepting differences. Classroom activities included art projects where students designed their own unique socks, symbolising individuality.

The day concluded with a ‘sock parade,’ where students showcased their creative choices. One Year 6 student remarked, “Odd Sock Day helps us see that it’s great to be different and kind.”

This fun and meaningful event highlighted our school’s commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone feels respected. Thank you to everyone who took part and made the day so memorable!
