Collaborative Staff Development Day - 30th October 2017

For our October Staff Development Day, Hunton CEP School hosted our 3 collaboration schools, in addition to East Peckham Primary School and Hildenborough Primary School. Staff from all 6 schools were treated to day's long workshop delivered by Andy Griffith on Teaching Backwards. The day provided an inspiration sequence of activities which helped staff reflect upon their practise and think about raising expectations for all pupils.

'A useful day to consider how to plan effectively and logically to cater for all children.'

Mr E Ming, Assistant Head Teacher

This year the Maidstone rural collaboration of Anglican Schools met together to provide a range of CPD opportunities including: Read, Write, Inc: Spell (improving pupils' spelling skills); Child Protection; E-safety and First Aid.

These sessions have been excellent in forging close links and working relationships between the four schools as well as maintaining a high level of consistency throughout.
